Luke HohmannSuccessful software architectures evolve over time to meet the needs of changing business requirements. Unfortunately, product teams often struggle with managing these changes because their technology roadmaps fail to integrate the perspectives of product management, product marketing, and technology leaders. In this talk, Luke Hohmann will show how Market Driven Product Roadmaps can help product teams develop long term solutions to complex problems. Leveraging more than a decade of experience in creating roadmaps, and drawing from the roadmapping format first published in his book Beyond Software Architecture: Creating and Sustaining Winning Solutions, Luke will explore the structure, processes, and outcomes of a good Market Driven Product Roadmaps. Luke will emphasize both internal and external collaboration models that lead to better roadmaps. Luke will also lead us in in-person and online versions of the Innovation Game® Prune the Product Tree, a distributed, serious game that enables product teams to efficiently and collaboratively gather internal and external stakeholder feedback on roadmaps.
