12-Sept-08: Enthiosys Customer Appreciation Day

We were honored to have more than 70 of our clients, partners and friends join Enthiosys for our annual Customer Appreciation Day.  Highlights included two world-class speakers, international visitors, fine food and wine, high bandwidth networking, innovation gift baskets and great conversation.

  • Jim Highsmith, a founding member of the Agile community, talked about software quality, dysfunctional measurement systems, and the challenge of assigning revenue to features.  See his presentation.
  • Prof. Henry Chesbrough, author of the Open Innovation series, modeled how companies need to open their R&D processes to be more agile, with good ideas flowing in as well as out.  As he reminded us, “Not all the smart people in the world work for you.”  See his presentation.
  • Client success stories from Laila Arad-Allan of Aladdin Knowledge Systems (PPT) and Pete Morowski of Borland
  • Sumptuous food and wine at the San Jose Museum of Art and San Jose Fairmont
  • Luke Hohmann inspiring us to be even more agile and innovative
