Rich Mironov and Mike Van Riper organized two sessions at BarCampBlock, an ad hoc gathering of developers and other tech folks interested in learning and sharing in an open environment. This BarCamp was held along High Street in Palo Alto with space donated by SocialText, IDEO, Edgeio, and other local tech companies.

Where: 655 High Street (and surrounding blocks), Palo Alto, CA
When: August 18th – 19th

Mike and Rich led two sessions on agile development and product management, including one on agile 101. Open discussions covered the need for roadmapping to keep successive sprints on track, the role of UI designers (UED) and information architects, and detailed user stories as a way to get something concrete from agile cycles.
