First Blog
Hello there, and welcome to my blog. My name is Luke Hohmann, and I’m the president and founder of Enthiosys. But I suspect you know that since you’re reading my blog!
I’d like to start this blog by capturing a few thoughts from the presentation that Don Nielson gave at our 2005 Enthiosys Customer Appreciation Day (ECAD-2005). One of the points that Don made in his presentation was that being a true visionary can, at times, be a curse. When a visionary holds too tightly to his or her vision, they are often overtaken by the world that is happening around them. Furthermore, a visionary can be a bit depressing, as no matter what someone else does, they claim that it isn’t good enough. And that’s simply not true.
The path to innovative products and services is a bumpy road, filled with twisty curves and more than a few potholes. For those of you who are working on innovative products and services, be careful of holding too tightly to your vision, and consider the benefits of striving for a “good enough” solution.

Hi Luke,
and welcome to the blogosphere
In fact I ignored that you where the president and founder of Enthiosys, or even that Enthiosys existed. But you tagged this post with Technorati’s “innovation”.
So, it showed up in my RSS reader.
Perfect demonstration of the staight lines and direct pathways of some recent innovations, isn’t it?

oldcola,
Thank you for the quick introduction to the blogosphere. Finding me through technorati is indeed a great example of how technology (the technorati search engine) is creating straight lines between people who didn’t know that they want to become connected—but are happy to find each other.
